Restaurants

The dining experinces in El Dorado County are as special and as deverse as the beautiful hills they occupy. What are you in the mood for? Fresh and fast or leisurely with some cocktails? With well over 100 local area restaurants there is something to satisify all hungers. Below are just a few spots we really enjoy.

The very popular Cascada serves Spanish/Mexican food.

Shilla Sushi (including bento boxes of cooked foods including chicken/pork) draws guests from the bay area.

Allez, a French restaurant, has recently moved and now has plenty of indoor seating.

The Levee (formerly Café Luna) is Cajun styled and open most days to 3pm.

The Califonia Kitchen is a locals favorite with a full bar.

The Heyday Cafe, is a SF style spot that we like to go to for light dinners and people watching.

The Log Cabin Cafe (up the road from us - about 5 minutes away) and is open Thursday through Saturday.

Taste of Thai has super Thai food!

The Brick has a wide range of foods from pizza and sandwiches to steak dinners and seems to always have great service.

The Independent Restaurant & Bar is a gorgeous spot with interesting cocktails burgers and sandwiches to California fresh cuisine.  One guest suggested ordering their appetizer’s for a meal.

The Smith Flat House is our closest spot featuring great dishes from brick oven pizzas, sandwiches to fabulous changing first and second courses.

The Tortilla Flats Cantina is always fun.
