The Ladies of RNR...
From Great Mares come Great Champions…
With the mares providing half the genes and impacting most of the environmentally driven
personality traits, we have been highly selective in putting together our breeding
program. Here is an introduction to most of our wonderful broodmare dream team which are also pictured on our gallery (hyperlink at left).
Dell Teras Silver Sensation is a beautiful silver dapple mare with a flowing cream
colored mane and tail and a gorgeous topline. She is a double bred sister
of Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King! Silver produced in 2000 a lovely silver dapple filly -
who like her dam seems to float on air: RNR Cowboys Silver Belle, who we are
keeping in our breeding program. Silver’s 2002 solid black colt, RNR Cowboys Steele
Ur Heart, is a 2002 Western Championship Top Ten Weanling Colt. SOLD! Congrats to Mary Jo Moore on this wonderful mare!
NFCS Scarlet Lace is a striking chestnut mare whose offspring not only routinely
win at nationals, but have started breeding programs internationally. Two of her
1999 National Top Ten winning produce include RNR Rouges Scarlet Rose and
Hunt House Farms Rouges Foxy Lady. Foxy Lady was also the 1999 Eastern
Regionals Champion Mare. Another of Lace’s well known Nat'l Top Ten offspring is
NFCS Quicksilver. Lace rarely produce colts, thereby making her 2001 Western
Regional Reserve Champion Yearling Stallion 30-32" that much more special:
RNR Cowboys Sundance Kid. Bred to Dels Cowboy, Lace has produced five palominos in a row! 2003 colt, RNR Cowboys Prince Albert, shown with Kid took home 2003 Western Championship Top Ten Produce of Dam. Bert (Prince Albert) won Top Tens at the 2004 AMHR National Show (Yearling Stallions 30-32" & Solid Color) and was not shown AMHA. Lace's 2004 filly born on St Patrick's Day is an exquisite champagne-palomino named RNR Cowboys Irish Lace. We are intrigued to see if her 2005 filly, RNR Cowboys Saffyre will end up a rich palomino like Kid or a light champagne-palomino like Irish Lace. In the meantime, Lace has blessed us with a uniquely patterned palomino-pinto filly, RNR Cowboys Easter Bunny! Like her siblings, this is a mighty fine mare!
Bond First Symphony is an own daughter of Bond Showboy, the
only full-sister to Bond Peppy Power (sire of the incredible NFCS
Fire & Ice who sold for $122K in 1998) and half sister to both Bond Snippet &
Bond ATOY 4 UC! She has produced National Champions and puts a high step on
her offspring as can be seen in her son: RNR Cowboys High Note, who took home numerous awards in 2003 including AMHA National Top Tens in Hunter, Jumper and Single Pleasure Driving Futurity. Her 2001 foal, RNR Cowboys Mega Hertz, was a surprise – an
Isabella palomino indicating Symphony had some hidden color genes under that black coat
of hers! Symphony suprised us with a very handsome black colt with touches of chrome on 3/23/05 in between rainstorms is named RNR Cowboys Sonata Major. In music terms, that means "keys with a positive, affirming character" which aptly describes this little guy. Congradulations Jennifer on your purchase of Symphony!
Bond Piddles is a beautiful solid black mare who is all Bond bred, hailing from Bond
Sir Galahad. This mare claims three National Grand Champion uncles - Bond Cracker Crumble C and Bond Crusader (half-brothers to her sire) and Martins Buster Bond (half-brother to her dam). She produced a lovely black filly with white socks in 2000: RNR
Cowboys Lilly Langtree and a handsome chocolate silver son in 2001: RNR
Cowboys Smokey Spirit who was broke to drive by the Portia Sue Johnson of Moondance Ranch. Piddles is now owned by Mary & Steve. Meanwhile, her daughter Lilly Langtree has proven to be a marvelous broodmare and has to date only produced loud, correct pintos!
Chantilly Lace is a majestic, presence filled silver dapple mare with flowing cream
mane and tail. She earned World Top Tens (3rd) as a Senior mare and is perhaps best known for her Reserve National Champion driving son, Winners Circle Kismet who is also the 1999 & 2001 Western Regional Grand Champion Senior Stallion and TIED for 2002 AMHA National Champion Sr Stallion. In 2003, he took Central Championship Single Pleasure Driving Champion! His 2001 full-sister, RNR Dyn O Mite Choice is an awesome black pinto mare who acquired a weanling top five and yearling top four at the Western Championship shows along with AMHA National Top Five. Together, Kismet and Choice won yet another award – AMHA National Top Five Produce of Dam! We are very excited about Lace’s look alike and action packed 2002 filly, RNR Cowboys Psuede Lady! And now our non-stop action packed 2004 colt, RNR Cowboys Silver Legacy who like Kismet will be a performance horse extraordinaire! Silver Legacy took 3rd at the 2004 Western Championship Show - Weanling Stallions 28 - 30" and top ten at the 2005 Western Championship show. Silver Legacy was sold to Hazel as her foundation stallion and now lives in Great Britain and is producing beautiful offspring for her!!
Roys Toy Snippets Affinity is simply breathtakingly beautiful and an own daughter of
Bond Snippet, double bred granddaughter of Bond Sir Galahad and of Bond
Showboy. A mostly-chestnut pinto, she was a successful driving
mare in the show ring and dam of those Regional Top Ten driving stallions: Winners
Circle Oberon, Winners Circle BZ Barnaby and Winners Circle BS Bandito.
Congratulations to Barnaby on his 2005 World Reserve Grand Champion Single Pleasure Driving and for earning NINE Champion/Reserve Champion World titles and 15 Top Tens (mostly Top Fives). Affinity’s 2001 foal by Winners Circle Adonis is an extremely special black
pinto colt we named RNR Adonis’s Mycenean Lad who acquired numerous 2003 titles in Liberty, Multi-Color and halter and AMHA National Top Ten. Bred to Dels Cowboy for 2006, Affinity gave us the long awaited driving colt we've been hoping for (a keeper)! Because of the long wait, his name is RNR Cowboys Samuel! SOLD! Congrats to Mary Jo Moore on this wonderful mare!
Mystic Rose Small Wonder is a black pinto-all Bond bred mare hailing from Bond
Showboy. Having already proven herself in the show ring, she has gone on to produce
the exquisite, refined pinto filly: RNR Cowboys Midnight Lightning whose
winning presence turned so many heads in 2000. Her handsome 2001 eye-catching grey
pinto son, RNR Cowboys Blue Angel, achieved a 2001 Western Regional Top Ten
Weanling Stallion award and Top Ten in 2004. Then took 2005 Western Championship Reserve Champion Amateur Sr Stallion with his owner, Kristy, and they went on to earn 2005 World Top Ten! Small Wonder’s 2002 chestnut pinto filly, RNR Cowboys Miz Bea Haven is a beauty with promise of driving potential. Small Wonder's 2005 grey pinto colt, RNR Cowboys Blue ByU takes a LOT after big brother, Blue Angel. He is proudly owned by Nola. Small Wonder's grandson, a palomino pinto named RNR Cowboys High Noon looks so much like his dam (but in palomino coloring), Lightning, we can't wait to show him!!
Rodabi-J Hopi Hugme is a lovely sorrel mare by REH’s Patriarch /Bond
Rollback, who like her brother (Rodabi J Byte The Bullet, 1996 World Reserve Champion Country Pleasure Driving) has beautiful reaching movement. After Hugme did well in limited showing (including Western Championship Top Tens) – she gave us our perfectly proportioned
28" and under colt: RNR Hopi Braveheart, an own son of Dels Cowboy,
who in addition to top tens, brought home futurity money from Nationals. His full sister, RNR
Cowboys Girl Friday, started her career with a 2001 Western Regional Top Ten Weanling
Mares award followed by many firsts, Reserve Grand Champion awards and also, Western Regional Top Tens as a senior mare. Hugme’s 2002 champagne-palomino filly, RNR Cowboys Kissame, took home AOTE & Open 2003 Western Championship Top Tens. In 2004, she took Reserve Grand Champion Jr Mare awards and at the Western Championship Show, Reserve Champion Two Yr Old Mare, 29-31". As a senior mare, she won many top awards including unanimous Reserve Grand Champion Senior Mare. Hugme's sorrel pinto 2004 colt, RNR Cowboys Pistol Pete was shown once and took home ribbons in all of his classes. Hugme's 2006 colt is a spitting image of Kissame, but happens to be a minimal palomino pinto: RNR Cowboys Feather In His Cap. Feather is enjoying a fine show season in Texas this year (2008) and at his first miniature horse & pinto horse association shows took home Reserve Champions. His newest sibling, RNR Cowboys Spirits Rising is a very upright and eye catching chestnut pinto filly. She will make a fabulous show horse like all of her other siblings have. And, we believe that Hugme is bred back to Dels Cowboy for 2009!
Brewer’s Cha Cha was a chestnut pinto mare, who produced not only the
incomparable RNR Dyna Mite Valentino, but his 1999 full brother: RNR
Dyna Sty Affirmed (aka Zippy). Zippy who in addition to top tens, brought home futurity
money from Nationals plus grand and reserve championships. Likewise, their little
chocolate palomino half-brother, RNR IMA Cowboy 2, made his debut with a 2002
Western Championship Top Ten, Weanling Stallions and shows promise of becoming a
super all around halter/performance horse for a youth/amateur. IC2, as we call him, took home Grand Champion Jr Gelding and Reserve Grand Amateur Jr Gelding awards in 2004. He also was awarded 2004 Western Championship Reserve Champion Amateur Jr Geldings - Level 1 plus other Top Ten awards. He is proudly owned by Someday Farms.
Little Hoofs Cuddles is a chestnut pinto who has produced multiple National Top
Ten Champions. Her 1999 lovely chestnut daughter, RNR Cowboys Little Shooting
Star, started in the show ring in 2001 and at her first show came home with Reserve
Champion junior mare. Going on to collect more of those, Star then became 2001 Western
Regional Reserve Champion two-year old mare 28-30, a National Top Ten and 3rd in the
National Futurity plus AMHA honor roll! Star’s little 2001 brother, RNR Cowboys Two
Step, took home two Reserve Grand Championships in his second show out along with
2002 Western Regional Top Tens. Together, Star and Two Step won yet another award –
2002 AMHA Western Championship Show Reserve Champion Produce of Dam!
Cuddles’s look alike 2002 filly, RNR Cowboys Justadream took Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Jr Mares at her first show out in 2004 with Kris Colao/Viadera Training Center!! Then became the 2004 World Champion Futurity 2 yr old Mares, 31" and under. Also taking home top four in her open 29" and under mare class. 2004 brother "Ted" made good on the promise to shine boldly in his siblings footsteps, taking two firsts and a second his first show out! Ted also earned 2006 Western Champion 2 Year Old Stallions, 29" and Under and World Top Ten! Cuddles is 26 years old now, so we are not particularily expecting any more get from her although she does live with Dels Cowboy. While we do not expect Cuddles to have any more foals at the grand age of 26 years old, she lives with Cowboy full time. Their son, Ted E Bear, has entered the breeding shed this year and successfully settled his first mare in her first heat cycle. So, we are hoping for a fab foal to be born in Texas to Freedom Hill Farms Executive Dawn in 2009!
Britt Helm Grande Emotion is an upright, awesome black pinto by Spunky MS who
acquired numerous awards including 2000 Western Regional
Champion and Top Tens. Her first foal is an incredible 2002 chesnut pinto filly with high white
stockings, a beautiful tiny, dishy Arabian face and that "look at me" presence;
RNR Cowboys Joyful Song. Emotion "wins again" by foaling yet another "most favorite with Pharm visitors" foal in 2003; a solid seal brown replica colt to Joy named RNR Cowboys Abracadabra. Born too early for his lungs to have finished developing because of a badly twisted umbilical cord, we lost Emotion's incredibly marked, beautiful chestnut 2005 colt by Dels Cowboy (Emotional Refuge). But her very handsome black colt with matching white hind socks came out with a "tah dah" and was born sometime after we left the house and before we got back. Our niece has aptly named this independent spirit...RNR Cowboys Little Nemo! He has a handsome, compact body and will probably mature out about 30-31". AND he earned two firsts in open halter his second show out! In 2008, we are breeding Emotion to World Top 3 Champion, RNR Dyna Mite Valentino for a guaranteed pinto foal!
Brewers Mahogany Bay is a beautiful solid bay mare. An Orion Light Vant Huttenest grandaughter, Mahogany Bay has produced phenomenal offspring including AMHA World Top Ten, Winners Circle Calliope. Her full-sister and last foal of Winners Circle Adonis, RNR Cassiopeia - Adonis's Last Dance are both refined, eye-catching young ladies and have proven to be awesome in the show ring. Cassie earned numerous Grand Champion and Supreme Halter Horse as well as Regional & World Top Tens. Bred to Dels Cowboy, Mahogany Bay has given us a very leggy, elegant colt with white hind socks and a tiny, super arabian head...RNR Cowboys Moki, who we think needs to be in the show ring.
Rocking EK Jacobs Faith is an eye-catching chestnut pinto mare with attitude! Her sire is Jacobs Way who is an AMHA National Top 3 Sr. Stallion that is by THE Yellow Diamond Little Feather. Faith closely resembles her sire and is proving to be a fabulous broodmare! Her first foal is a 2002 palomino colt, RNR Cowboys Faith Walker. Both Walker and his 2003 palomino pinto sister, RNR Cowboys Princess Buttercup are upright, intelligent, eye-catching and action packed. Her 2005 palomino filly "RNR Cowboys Angel of Faith" is fabulous. Congratulations Malinda on your purchase of this beautiful mare!!Other broodmares include Freedom Hill Farms Executive Dawn (2000 Central Regional Champion Weanling Mares, 2001 Western Regional Champion and Top Ten); and in 2003, Paintbrush Cowboys Moonlight (AMHA National Champion and Regional Reserve Champion mare and 2002
Western Championship Amateur Reserve Grand Champion Sr. Mare). Dawn gave us a beautiful (and might we add, ADORABLE) palomino red roan filly sired by RNR Cowboys Mega Hertz (Dels Cowboy x Bond First Symphony) in November 2007. RNR Dawns Golden Glo (aka Gloria) is not only very correct conformationally, but just a doll who loves to be loved on. UPDATE! Rena is now the proud owner of Dawn!
